It’s like a circus, De Parade. The theatre caravans and tents attract people to parks in Rotterdam, Den Haag, Utrecht and Amsterdam with music, performances and plays. Also yummy food and drinks such as sushi and cocktails to bbq, poffertjes, biological wine and local beers are important features at this cool travelling festival.
Note the festive days in your agenda: De Parade starts the 20th of June in Rotterdam and ends in Amsterdam the 25th of August.

What a nice, warm summer day! We are working hard at the office, but our style is in vacation modus. Our palms at the office are thriving in the heat and the girls stroll around in cute summer dresses and sandals. I managed to snatch an image of two of my colleagues, each in a 10FEET maxidress from current and previous season. Cute toch?

On Saturday evenings throughout summer, party animals in Artis gather expectantly in their enclosures. Yep, ZOOmeravonden at Artis Royal Zoo lets visitors learn what the animals get up to after hours by staying open until sunset on every Saturday in June, July and August.
Activities and live music
During ZOOmeravonden, Artis offers plenty of activities for families, children and the creature curious. Some animals may be sleeping but for those still wide-eyed, why not steal an up close and personal encounter with the furry and feathered kind? There are special guided tours, face painting, scavenger hunts, puppet shows and animal talks. Meanwhile, live music performances by well-known performers often appeal to adult crowds. You can even book a ready-made picnic to collect at the gate.
